Darin McBeath

Darin McBeath has been exploring XML and related technologies for the past 10 years. His current responsibilities within the Advanced Technology Group at Elsevier include researching new technology, defining technical strategy, and consulting for the various Elsevier divisions. Darin has also represented Elsevier on the W3C XML Query Full Text working group and on the Technical Steering Committee for the Medbiquitous Consortium. For the past 5 years, he has been specifically focusing on XQuery and the opportunities this technology will pose for publishers.Darin holds a bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis from Miami University.
